Meeting Summariser

Turns a transcript into decisions, owners and dated actions.

Meeting Summariser reads a transcript and returns what the meeting was actually for: the decisions reached, who owns what, by when, what was explicitly deferred, and the questions that were raised and never answered.

Decisions, not minutes

A summary that recounts the conversation in order is nearly worthless a week later. The agent restructures around outcomes: here is what was decided, here is who is doing what, here is what got parked. Everything else is compressed hard.

Owners and dates, or an explicit gap

Every action item carries an owner and a due date. Where the meeting did not assign one, the agent says so rather than inventing it. An action list with an unassigned owner is a useful signal; one with a fabricated owner is a problem waiting to surface.

Unanswered questions

The output includes questions that were raised and left hanging. This is consistently the section customers say they did not know they needed, and it is the one that most often changes what happens next.

What it can do

  • Separate decisions from discussion
  • Attribute actions to named owners
  • Extract or infer due dates
  • List questions raised but not answered
  • Identify what was explicitly deferred
  • Note points of disagreement and who held them
  • Produce a short and a detailed version
  • Handle multi-speaker and imperfect transcripts
